Gran Casino del Sardinero is a premier destination located in the historic city of Santander. The place used to be a venue for operas and art cinema but was redesigned by the famous Spanish architect Ricardo Lorenzo . It re-opened in 1978 as a leading recreation center in Spain and since then has become one of the most popular casinos in Santander.
The building looks similar to a grand castle with neoclassical architecture. The interiors are purely modernist and are stacked with high-end gaming facilities, including the latest slot machines, game tables and exclusive poker rooms.
Membership is not required to enter the casino but an entrance fee must be paid at the reception. You must be 18 years to be given access. There is a required dress code.
