Casino Taoro

Casino Taoro is the oldest casino in the city of Tenerife. It is a simple place with sufficient gaming facilities, including poker tables, slot machines and roulette. The location meets the standards for a mid-level casino. The place is also known as Casino Puerto de la Cruz and it is quite popular among the mature crowd. Its main attraction is the monthly game tournaments  such as the Texas Hold’em Tournament held every month.

Non-members of 18 years are welcome. Casual dress code is required but there is no need for jacket or tie.

The slots are available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 AM and the live table games and poker games are open at 8:00 PM to  3:00 AM.

Casino Taoro has minimal number of slot machines compared to other premier casinos in Spain. But several slots do have the latest software and all provide enjoyable time for players. Prizes are not progressive and the range for betting for all table games is at low limits. For blackjack, the minimum bet is 2.50€ and for the roulette tables, the limit is 1€.

Unfortunately, the casino does not offer sports betting. However, video poker is available as well as cash games. There is a dedicated poker room within the casino hall and guests in groups can have it booked in advance.

The Texas Hold’em Tournaments is open to all with starting bet as low as 35€.

Casino Taoro is a major tourist destination in Tenerife because of its proximity to all beautiful attractions such as Lago Martianez swimming complex, the botanical garden and the Loro Parque Zoo.

A restaurant that offers delectable cuisine can be found right within the casino hall. Guests can order lunch or dinner from a carefully selected menu of local as well as international dishes. The restaurant is open from 12:00 noon to 12:30 AM.

The bar right across the gaming rooms offer a good selection of vintage wines as well as other alcoholic beverages and the usual draft beer.
